Just to note that Lent 20 is going to be posted in the morning = am somewhat sleepy this evening and have already drowsed off at the keyboard twice - and rather than inflict that same experience on readers I will attempt to be more alert in the morning:)

Owing to several combinations of circumstances I am without the books to bring you the next Saturday poem - but as one of those circs is four hours sitting/standing/shouting/throwing cushions at the rugby on TV I thought that for those of our readers who also are rugby fans I could at least provide a fun link - rugby can be poetry in motion ( Read more... )

Just back from a great week in Berlin which turned out to be a very welcoming city (apart from the lack of signs on the S Bahn and the guards in the Alte Nationalgalerie who were christened the guards who like to say nicht !')
